SO HOW DOES CLEAR BRA WORK?
Clear Bra (or Paint Protection Film) has evolved tremendously over the years. Modern Clear Bras are dual layered urethane materials that provide advanced protection against rock chips than even a vinyl wrap solution. The primary function of a clear bra is to protect the paint underneath. Clear Bra is known for being extremely durable by absorbing and dispersing the impact of road debris with its urethane layers. This effect prevents the force of the impact to cause chips on the surface of the paintwork. The film is able to do this surprisingly well.
Besides what is on the surface. Paint Protection Film also has self healing properties built into the film. This allows it to not accumulate the dreaded swirl marks you typically see on a bright sunny day. By applying a bit of heat to the clear bra’s topcoat, it will remove any swirl marks that could have been introduced.
